Women leading change: Angela Knight, Chief Executive British Bankers’AssociationMore than a hundred CWN members and guests gathered for an historic meeting of City Women’s Network at Merrill Lynch in the City of London to launch our 30th Anniversary programme of events. Introduced by CWN’s Patron, Janet Gaymer, the Public Appointments Commissioner for England and Wales, Angela Knight, the Chief Executive of the British Bankers’ Association gave an inspiring talk about her own experiences as a businesswoman over the past thirty years and talked about how the role of women has changed. |

Change of Community Manager Our community manager Pernille Giraud-Sauveur has stepped down from her position to pursue other professional activities in the field of her profession, pharmacy. The current treasurer of EuropeanPWN – Nice, Ingrid Loren, has taken over the position and is looking forward to continuing the great work Pernille started. |

| Change of leadership in Vienna Tasha Faltys-Linden and Brenda Nachla Co-Presidents of Vienna city network since 2006 are now passing the baton to Christina Thomar and Ursula Vavrik. Christina’s professional scope is International Marketing, Business Development and Sales. She has been working for companies in Germany and Austria, building up markets in Europe, Russia, and China. Ursula, currently a consultant for environment, development and European affairs, has pursued an international career including assignments with the UN, the OECD, the European Commission and lately the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both women are active in gender issues, advancement of women and maintaining a career and family-life balance. |
