One out of three women networks more than 3 hours a week for business
It is common knowledge that taking the time to network is important to one’s personal and professional growth. However, the hours spent cost you money and take valuable time from your incredible busy schedule. Our April poll on “How many hours do you network for business per week?” indicates that the majority of 36% of those responding to the poll network less than one hour per week for business, 28% spend between one to three hours, 19% take three to five hours, and 16% spend more than five hours per week. The question is, are you an effective business networker?

Change of Community Manager

Our community manager Pernille Giraud-Sauveur has stepped down from her position to pursue other professional activities in the field of her profession, pharmacy. The current treasurer of EuropeanPWN – Nice, Ingrid Loren, has taken over the position and is looking forward to continuing the great work Pernille started. More

Change of leadership in Vienna

Tasha Faltys-Linden and Brenda Nachla Co-Presidents of Vienna city network since 2006 are now passing the baton to Christina Thomar and Ursula Vavrik.

Christina’s professional scope is International Marketing, Business Development and Sales. She has been working for companies in Germany and Austria, building up markets in Europe, Russia, and China.

Ursula, currently a consultant for environment, development and European affairs, has pursued an international career including assignments with the UN, the OECD, the European Commission and lately the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both women are active in gender issues, advancement of women and maintaining a career and family-life balance.
