What is EuropeanPWN-Stockholm?
EuropeanPWN-Stockholm is the Swedish branch of the European Professional Women’s Network. Our mission is to promote the professional progress of women in business. EuropeanPWN-Stockholm brings together management-level women from a variety of businesses and professions from multinational companies to small companies to entrepreneurs. Our objective is to provide a cross-generational networking, experience-sharing and leadership training platform to international professional women based in the greater Stockholm area.

President: Sofi Hĺkanson, IBM Global Business Services
For the past 5 years Sofi has managed IBMs Swedens Financial Services Sector. In this position Sofi was accountable for IBM’s entire client relationship, P&L as well as product portfolio, with major Swedish Banks and Insurance companies. In IBM she acted in both FSS Nordic- and IBM Swedens leadership team. January 2007 Sofi was recruited to the business consulting unit that is tasked to grow IBMs strategic services business with key Banks and Insurance clients. Sofi has extensive experience of working in an international environment, having been part of Nordic and European teams with global flavors. In IBM, Sofi has been part of initiating and driving networks to promote women in their careers. Sofi pursued her university degree in Marketing and MBA courses in the U.S while holding a tennis scholarship as well as several academic scholarships/awards
Treasurer: Christina Sandell, VP Marketing & Communications Nordic & Baltics, Ericsson
Since March 2008 Christina Sandell holds the responsibility as VP Marketing & Communications for Ericsson in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Before joining Ericsson Christina was Country Marketing Manager at IBM in Sweden. Earlier Christina has been a CRM consultant as well as Lead Principal for IBM’s CRM offerings. Before that Christina was Marketing Manager for Ernst & Young in Sweden as well as Senior Manager within Ernst & Young Management Consulting. Christina started her career as a project manager and a systems developer.
