What is EuropeanPWN – Spain?

EuropeanPWN is a cross-sector networking and training platform for professional women with an international outlook. Our mission is to promote the professional progress of women in business. We believe that women can learn from other women by sharing success stories and experiences, management and leadership capabilities and business networks. Through regular guest speaker events, learning programs, networking activities and a rich online platform, EuropeanPWN – Spain brings together management-level women from a variety of industries and functions from large multinational companies, mid size and entrepreneurial businesses to public service and academic professionals. Our objective is to provide a setting for a cross-generational and diverse group of professional women to network, share experiences and participate in developmental programs.

As a member, you receive our local and European newsletters and have the opportunity to take part in our members-only events, such as our mentoring program and networking socials.

Careers Day Announced for September 17

EuropeanPWN is delighted to provide initial details for the one day Career Strategy event which is to take place in Madrid on the 17th September. The event will be focused on practical and relevant personal and professional development and skills training that will support women in their early, mid and experienced career stages. The Careers Day is an opportunity to connect and network with colleagues and “experienced executives, field experts, special speakers and guests.” Our goal is to promote EuropeanPWN as a leading resource for learning, sharing and networking for women in business in Spain and across Europe.

Ha terminado el primer ciclo de talleres de Coaching

El 23 de junio se celebró el cierre del primer programa de Coaching organizado por EuropeanPWN en Madrid. Han participado unas 30 profesionales de distintos países y sectores, con posiciones profesionales diversas, y en momentos muy distintos de su carrera profesional. Las responsables de Coaching comparten feed-back sobre este ciclo de talleres.

Launch of CEO Leaders Breakfast Program

We launched the CEO Leaders Breakfast Program this quarter with leaders Merrill Lynch, Ferrovial and Inditex as hosts. Eva Castillo, SVP Wealth Management EMEA Merrill Lynch hosted a breakfast, as did Rafael del Pino, Chairman Ferrovial and Pablo Isla, CEO Inditex. The objective is to provide an environment to promote visibility, credibility and an open line of communication to the leaders of EuropeanPWN and IBEX, large Spanish company leaders. The setting and conversation is informal giving all of the leaders an opportunity to share best practices and experiences related to relevant and current business and leadership topics. Women on Boards – Moving Mountains is the 9th book published by EuropeanPWN and has the facts and history of women on boards across Europe, anecdotes and tools and techniques to support women and organizations who aspire to be promote the number of women on boards in the future.
